Glamping is the new camping: the feeling of camping in a tent but with the luxury of home. A camping holiday where the accommodation is already ready for you. Delicious right?

A fully equipped tent for 5 people with all the trimmings:

Wooden floors; Two bedrooms. One of these has a double bed and one room has three single beds. All beds have duvets and pillows. Fully equipped kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, a sitting area, TV, toilet with sink. (the showers are located in the toilet block) Terrace with a lovely sitting area with lounge sofas.

What makes this accommodation special

There are several activities you can do in the area. At the campsite itself there is the possibility for the youth to play on the field with the volleyball net, sandpit, swing, seesaw and trampoline. In addition, it is of course possible to use all the possibilities on the water. You can surf or sail here by boat. If you do not own a boat, it is possible to rent one, the campsite rents out different types of boats. They are also happy to arrange canoes or bicycles for you. You are in a beautiful lake area in Southwest Friesland. This makes it also recommended to cycle here.

Part of Camping Ykema

The campsite is located on the water in the beautiful lake area of Southwest Friesland and has many facilities. In addition to the possibility to reserve a place for your tent, caravan or motorhome, it is also an option to choose the group accommodation, the log cabins or glamping tent. The group accommodation is suitable for groups up to forty people, but can also be booked for smaller groups. The log cabins and glamping tent are suitable for a group of up to five people. There is also a nice spacious toilet block with toilets, 6 showers, a launderette and a baby room. The 6 showers are equipped with automatic showers and work on € 0.50 cent coins. A disabled room is available for our guests who have difficulty walking. There is an opportunity to do your dishes on the side of the toilet block.

Location

The campsite is located near the village of Sandfirden in Friesland, in the middle of meadows and lakes. It is a small campsite on the water and is located on 'De Flakke Brekken'. This is in open connection with the Heegermeer and the Fluessen. Because 'De Flakke Brekken' is not a through waterway, you can enjoy plenty of space and peace here. The campsite is situated around a farm where goats, chickens, rabbits and sheep roam around. In addition, the conditions are ideal for sailing/boating. There are also beautiful cycling routes and there is always something to do in the area of Sûdwest-Fryslân.
