Kuiertocht De Âld Dyk | Easterein
This short walking route takes you through the expansive landscape towards Wommels via the Âld Dyk. Before reaching Wommels, you will walk back to your starting point at Easterein. Along the way, you pass by farms, traverse the meadows, and meander between the ditches.
A "kuiertocht" is a short walking route. So, it probably won't surprise you that in Frisian, "wandelen" translates to "kuierje". You can easily combine a leisurely stroll with an activity in the area, or choose to embark on another leisurely stroll.
Note: This route largely follows the walking junction network. After junction 51, head towards junction 20. At the junction near the Van Sminialeane, turn right to walk back to the starting point in Easterein.

The Martinikerk Easterein
The Martinikerk is a church built in the 14th century, located on a moated elevation. In the middle of the 11th century, a tuffstone predecessor was built. The church hall is available for rent. You can also book a guided tour.

Deze route volgt grotendeels het wandelknooppuntennetwerken. Na knooppunt 51 wandel je richting knooppunt 20. Op de splitsing bij de Van Sminialeane sla je rechtsaf om weer terug naar het startpunt in Easterein te wandelen.
