Kuiertocht IJlst
This Kuiertocht takes you from IJlst to Sneek and back again. You'll see the distinctive chimney of the Nooitgedacht Factory, the De Rat Wood Sawmill, and of course, the 11fountains floral fountain. The town has grown greatly due to wood, and you can learn all about it at the Wood City IJlst museum and workshop.
A "kuiertocht" is a short walking route. So, it probably won't surprise you that in Frisian, "wandelen" translates to "kuierje".
