Under the title 'Intimate Sketches,' the Agathe Ensemble presents a collection of intimate piano works by Janáček, Bartók, and Shostakovich, performed for the first time by string players. These works will be creatively arranged for over an hour. For those who want to learn more about the music, they offer an album after the concert. This album includes a book with background stories about the music and, of course, a CD with the corresponding pieces.
The international string quartet consists of Aleksandra Kwiatkowska and Ella van de Mespel on violin, Almudena González on viola, and Iván Nogueira on cello.
Admission is free with a collection at the end, with a suggested amount of €10.
