Sint Nicolaasga (Frisian: Sint Nyk) is situated amidst beautiful forests. But also the Tjeukemeer and the Langweerder Wielen are not far away. Every year, on the first Thursday of September, the Sint Nykster Merke begins in Sint Nicolaasga. Traditionally, it starts with the allegorical parade. This impressive parade includes floats, Frisian show bands, and music corps.
