Delfstrahuizen, together with Echtenerbrug, forms a twin village on the edge of Lake Tjeukemeer.
Delfstrahuizen (Frisian: Dolsterhûzen) and Echtenerbrug (Frisian: Ychtenbrêge) make up a twin village on the shores of Lake Tjeukemeer. In the center, you'll find numerous cozy terraces, often situated by the water. Take a seat and watch the boats passing by right through the village.
On the south side of Lake Tjeukemeer, just outside Delfstrahuizen/Echtenerbrug, a beautiful cycling and walking path has been created, allowing you to stroll or cycle to neighboring villages Echten and Oosterzee.
