Het Molenhuis can accommodate more than 120 people and is perfect for sailing camps, family weekends, company outings and other group activities. With two modern kitchens, including a professional catering kitchen and a handy pantry with catering oven, preparing meals for large groups is a piece of cake. You also have access to three large recreation rooms, each with a unique atmosphere and modern facilities such as a bar and built-in sound systems. These spaces offer plenty of opportunities for joint activities or relaxing moments. Het Molenhuis is located in the charming water sports village of Woudsend, in the middle of the Frisian lake district. From our own jetties you can sail straight onto the Slotermeer, Heegermeer or the Noorder Ee, while the village itself is bustling with cozy restaurants, cafes and shops. The extensive outdoor area offers space for sports, games and evening programs, with large lawns where you can really let off steam. The historic sawmill De Jager forms the heart of Het Molenhuis and provides a unique atmosphere. This almost 300 year old mill is still in operation and gives your stay a special character. Visit the millers on Saturday for a tour and discover this piece of living heritage.
