Visitor information
For navigation use the address Afsluitdijk 1c. You can park for free at parking areas P1 or P2 at the Afsluitdijk Wadden Center. From there you walk via a network of stairs and bridges at Kornwerderzand to the entrance of the museum at Afsluitdijk 5.

Battle of the Wadden: The museum is part of the cycling route ‘May 1940’, within the broader theme ‘Battle of the Wadden’.
Siel fan Súdwest: Together with eight other museums the Kazematten Museum takes part in the project ‘De Siel fan Súdwest’. This initiative of the Foundation for Cooperation Museums Southwest Friesland is part of Arcadia, a cultural event held every three years that builds on the success of Leeuwarden as European Capital of Culture in 2018 (LF2018).
