Cannon firing with the city militia of Sloten

Step back into a time when the city militia had to defend Sloten with cannons. Every Friday evening during the summer holidays, the city militia of Sloten takes tourists and other visitors back in time. Two cannons are still in use and are loaded and fired every Friday evening. Together with the town crier, the militia turns it into an evening to remember. After the demonstration, stay a little longer and enjoy one of the terraces in the smallest town of the Frisian Eleven Cities.
