The 'Kubus' has an entrance with cloakroom and storage space for sailing suits and life jackets. The living area includes a sitting area, dining area and bar. The fully equipped kitchen has a six-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, spacious pantry, large refrigerator, freezer and complete inventory. The kitchen can be used open or closed.

Behind the Kubus are a terrace and a playing field. The accommodation has two sanitary facilities, each with two showers, two toilets and three washbasins. There are two six-person rooms and four five-person rooms with bunk beds, all adjacent to a hall with storage space for sailing suits. Each room has a spacious closet and three rooms have direct access to the outside.

Large patio doors open onto a lovely terrace with views over the vast meadows. The accommodation also has a large lawn that serves as an excellent playing field.

Since 1990, together with my husband Peter Keus, I welcome many guests each year to introduce them to the beautiful Friesland and sailing. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge about the landscape and the rich history of this special environment.

Tips from the owner

Directly from the accommodation you can board the boat for a sailing trip to various nice Frisian villages and towns on the water. With the canoe you can sail down the Luts towards the Gaasterland forest. Along the way you have a chance to spot kingfishers, among other things.
