De Grote Schans is an atmospheric former farm where you can stay with a group of up to 40 people. The farmhouse has a spacious dining room and a cozy living area with a comfortable sitting area. There is a special play corner for the children and various games are available. The kitchen is well equipped, including an oven and gas hob, as well as a dishwasher. The group accommodation consists of 9 bedrooms, all of which are equipped with a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The bedrooms are suitable for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people. The accommodation has a nice terrace where you can barbecue. There is a playing field on the site where you can play volleyball as well as football!

Recreation Tolbrugschans is beautifully situated in nature and on the river Tsjonger. In just over 5 minutes you drive to Nieuwehorne where there is a supermarket, among other things. In Oldeberkoop (3 minutes drive) you will also find a supermarket, but also a bakery. There are also a number of restaurants in both villages. From Recreatie Tolbrugschans you can take a beautiful walk over the Dellebuursterheide or on the Kleine Kiekenberg.
