In this house you have your own floor which can be reached via a good fixed staircase. This allows you to use two bedrooms and a cozy sitting area with radio and TV. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other bedroom has a single bed. On the floor there is also a chemical toilet and a sink with hot and cold water. You can shower on the ground floor in the shared bathroom. The cozy garden includes a number of seating areas where you can enjoy yourself in nice weather, for example under the pear tree. From the rooms on the first floor you can enjoy a beautiful view of the fields all around. There is a garden terrace where the owner sells coffee/tea, cakes and ice creams.

The kitchen is not accessible to guests, but you can join us for dinner. Dinner (3 courses) is offered for €18.00 per person and breakfast is offered for €8.00 per person.

This B&B is located about a 5-minute drive from Scharnegoutum. The rural location between the meadows allows you to look far and enjoy the peace and quiet. Scharnegoutum is a pleasant village near Sneek, including a supermarket and bakery. If you are looking for the bustle of a city, you can drive to the center of Sneek in less than 10 minutes with a pleasant shopping center, various restaurants and cafes. Kort maar krachtig
Enorm warm welkom zelfs voor ons korte bezoek waarbij we laat arriveerde en 's morgens vroeg weg moesten en dus geen tijd hadden voor ontbijt. Ontvangst met drankje en heerlijke huisgemaakte taart! Wij gaan onze ervaring zeker delen met vrienden en kennissen.

Voor herhaling vatbaar
Het bed stond niet helemaal gunstig, je moest eruit als degene die naast je lag er even uit moest. Het bed zelf was heerlijk maar er zat een soort kuil in zodat we naar elkaar toe rolden. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en de gastvrijheid was fantastisch!

Tips from the owner
We live on the Elfstedentocht route. From Leeuwarden it is 26 km to Scharnegoutum. The St Odulphus path also has two routes that run past our house. The World Heritage Planetarium in Franeker is a must and you should definitely see it. You can relax on the Sneekermeer. There is a water ski slope and a water amusement park which is great fun for children. Beach and restaurant also on "de Potten", Offingawier. In Sneek you can visit the shipping and railway museum. You can walk from our house through the meadows to Reahûs and Turns. There is also an opportunity to fish near our house. We ourselves have a garden terrace where it is wonderful to sit with a wide view to Sneek and Bolsward. You sometimes see deer in front of the house, but certainly hares and swans.
