It Âlde Bakhûs is an authentic house that belongs to a monumental farm. On the ground floor of the house you will find a modern, well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and oven! The rest of the ground floor is attractively furnished with a nice dining area and cozy sitting area. The bathroom is also on the ground floor, it is complete with sink, toilet and shower. When you go up the stairs, you will see the bedroom with two single beds. If necessary, an extra sleeping place can be created from the sofa bed.

It Âlde Bakhûs and the adjacent farm are national monuments dating back to the 18th century. The house is located in Sondel, a village on the edge of the beautiful Gaasterland. From the house you can easily get on your bike or in the car to discover the beautiful, hilly surroundings. Sondel is a small village south of Balk, this is also the closest place for your shopping. Near Sondel are the Sondeler Leijen, a beautiful nature reserve where you can walk. Here you can spot various beautiful birds from the bird hide.

Er valt niets maar dan ook niets op aan te merken. Alles compleet inklusief 2 leuke schapen. Alles was en is aanwezig. Alles is kraakhelder.

Het was een heerlijke week op een prachtige plek. Bij aankomst een warm welkom door zowel de eigenaresse als door het lekkers wat voor ons klaar stond: flesje wijn, Fries suikerbroodje, pruimen uit de boomgaard en een huisgemaakt potje jam. Het huisje is idyllisch gelegen met een heerlijk uitzicht op grazende koeien en een paar gezellige schapen. Daarnaast is het huisje van alle gemakken voorzien en aan alles is gedacht. Blij via de VVV te hebben geboekt. Hun service een 10!
