The Bakhuisje is largely situated in a secluded location on the grounds and offers an unobstructed view of the meadows at the rear, as well as the IJsselmeer in the distance. Here, you can enjoy peace and nature. This cozy cottage was completely renovated in 2024 and exudes the atmosphere of yesteryear, yet is otherwise modern and comfortably furnished with a smart TV and (free) internet. You have your own private entrance with plenty of privacy. Towels and bed linen are included in the rental, and naturally, the beds are made upon arrival.

The Bakhuisje features a combined living and dining room with a comfortable corner sofa, dining table, and luxury kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a combination oven, refrigerator, induction hob, Nespresso machine, kettle, and dishwasher. There is ample kitchen inventory.

There is a separate bedroom on the ground floor with a twin box-spring bed, a wardrobe, and a small desk. Furthermore, there is a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, a separate shower, a toilet, and a washbasin with a mirrored cabinet.
First floor layout:
A rather steep staircase leads to the first floor, where a small but oh-so-cozy bedroom has been created, furnished with two separate beds. The two skylights are fitted with insect screens and roller blinds. There is space on the landing for the combined washer-dryer and a clothes rack.
What makes this accommodation special
On the ground floor is the spacious bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and toilet. In front of the cottage is a private terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers. Breakfast can be booked optionally and is delivered in the morning.

The B&B rooms and apartments are all located in and around the monumental end-body farm from 1850. You will find the farm on a spacious plot on the edge of the nice village of Nijemirdum.

You can get a breath of fresh air here and enjoy the surroundings. The IJsselmeer is within cycling distance of our B&B. Behind the farm you can enjoy the unobstructed view over the meadows and the IJsselmeer in the distance. The village of Oudemirdum is only 2 km away and there you will find nice restaurants, a small supermarket, a bakery and a butcher. The beach at Hege Gerzen is also about 2 km from the B&B.
