Kolmeersland Starteiland Sneekermeer

Starteiland can only be reached by ferry or by private boat, which makes it such a unique place in the heart of Friesland.

For recreational boating, there are more than 400 berths available in three marinas on Starteiland Sneekermeer. The draught in the marinas is approximately 1.90 m. Deep-draught yachts are best served by choosing a berth in the southern marina via the Kolmeersgat.

Ships with a greater draught can moor on the north and west sides of the island.

The harbours are equipped with electricity columns, drinking water taps and a pumping station for waste water disposal.

The Sneekermeer (officially and in Frisian: Snitser Mar) is a lake in the Dutch province of Friesland, located between the town of Sneek and the villages of Terhorne (Terherne) and Goingarijp, which is best known for its popularity with water sports enthusiasts.

Water sports facilities are available on and around the lake, such as a speedboat track, several marinas and a starting tower for sailing competitions.
