In the village of Rottum there is a bell tower with a concrete frame and a saddle roof. At one time the village had its own church, but it fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1791 after being dilapidated for many years.
In the village of Rottum there is a bell tower with a concrete frame and a saddle roof. At one time the village had its own church, but it fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1791 after being dilapidated for many years. In the 20th century the bell tower that originally stood in the graveyard was replaced by one with a concrete frame. The swinging bell is thought to have been cast by Johan van Bomen in 1443.
