Boshuis 't Zusje has a light and spacious living room with a comfortable sitting area, a gas heater, a separate dining area and a television. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and all other necessary kitchen utensils. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor: one with 1 single bed and a double bed and one with a double bed. In addition, there is a storage room with a washing machine and a driveway with space for two cars. There is a spacious terrace behind the house, a barbecue, a fireplace and a shady seating area next to the house.

In the immediate vicinity you will find numerous hiking and cycling paths. Nearby Oudemirdum is bustling with cozy shops, atmospheric restaurants and the informative visitor center Mar en Klif.

The hilly surroundings almost make you forget that you are in Friesland. From the cottage you can discover the special nature of Gaasterland, such as the Rijsterbos and the unique cliffs, including the Oudemirdumerklif. The area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, sailing or horse riding. In the village of Oudemirdum you will find the visitor center Mar en Klif, where you can learn more about the National Landscape Southwest Friesland. The cozy village is bustling with shops, cozy restaurants and historic buildings around the Brink. Nearby villages such as Balk, Stavoren, Hindeloopen, Rijs, Harich and Bakhuizen are also worth exploring. At the Mirnser Klif there is a beautiful beach with low tide, nice for small children but also for (kite) surfing.

Within walking distance of our cottage you will find the Wyldemerk, a beautiful nature reserve to walk or cycle through. Through the meadows or the Rijsterbos you can walk to the Mirnser Klif in 45 minutes, a beautiful walk with a drink at Paviljoen 't Mar as a reward.
