This beautiful house, two houses under one roof, is located on a private island. You park your car, step aboard the electric sloop and sail straight to the house! The houses can be rented separately (see the other advertisements), but also at the same time, so that you can stay there with 14 people. The holiday homes are equipped with all comforts and luxury and have two spacious living rooms with a beautiful view over the Âlde Feanen National Park or the Janssloot. The two living areas include a seating area situated around a soapstone stove. Both houses have a dining area and a nice kitchen, which is fully equipped and includes an oven, refrigerator and outside there is a Takumi barbecue. There are eight bedrooms with room for fourteen people. The bedrooms contain either double beds or two single beds. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The bathrooms have a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a separate toilet in the house.

What makes this accommodation special

The house cannot be reached by car, the last part you sail to the holiday home in an electric sloop. This is included in your stay. In the winter period - when the lock is closed - the house is also accessible on foot.

We (family with 3 teenage children) have been enjoying this unique relaxation spot for years. Occasionally we have had enough of the hustle and bustle of the city of Utrecht (where we live) and then we can relax at Landgoed Âld Heach Hiem. In May 2021 we (our own hands) built a luxury holiday home (semi-detached) here, to share the place with others who love peace, nature and water sports.
