On the outskirts of Sneek lies this former dairy farm, focused on local food, biodiversity, and sustainability. The site offers a small-scale ecological campsite, a meeting venue, a food forest, and a vegetable garden. It is also possible to host weddings, anniversaries, or other celebrations. The kitchen uses organic and as much locally sourced ingredients as possible, preferably from the farm itself or in collaboration with local farmers. Nearly 800 solar panels are installed on the roofs, water is heated with heat pumps, and the buildings are constructed or renovated using ecological and circular materials.

Camping
Behind the farm lies a small, naturally designed campsite surrounded by greenery, where each pitch has its own shape. The campsite accommodates tents, caravans, camper vans, and larger motorhomes. Dogs are welcome. Sustainable travelers, young families, and adventurers of all ages feel at home here.

Meetings, events, and weddings
The former “Melkput” has been transformed into a cozy hall suitable for meetings and small events. Seated, it accommodates 25 people, standing up to 50. It is ideal for drinks or small private dinners. From May to September, the Eettuin, covered terrace, and stable are also available, allowing weddings and events with up to approximately 100 guests. For larger events, collaboration with local partners ensures everything is fully organized.

Activities
Throughout the year, activities are organized for locals and visitors, ranging from culinary evenings, tastings, and picnics to workshops such as sourdough bread baking. For an overview of activities, check the website agenda or follow the social media pages.

Opening hours
The campsite is open from Ascension Day to September 1. Meetings and events are possible year-round by appointment.
