The campsite is located at a former dairy farm, directly on the Elfstedenroute and near the centre of Bolsward. Horses and sheep are kept there, and Juul the pig and free-range chickens are also present. Fresh eggs are available at the reception. Guests can play Jeu de Boules, relax with coffee or tea, barbecue or make a campfire. In the communal area there are books, a billiard table, a television, and a microwave and washing machine (for a fee). For children there are go-karts, fishing nets, a pole, a trampoline and games. The campsite is small-scale and quiet, with spacious pitches, electricity and water. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. There is a covered bicycle shed with charging points for e-bikes. Party tents are not allowed. Half-Hichtum is an ideal starting point for the Elfstedenroute and various rural cycling tours. Horse lovers are also welcome: there is stabling space with separate boxes. In the reception area you will find brochures, free bicycle routes, board games and children's toys.

The campsite is located at the former dairy farm of the Bos family, directly on the Elfstedenroute and a short distance from the historic center of Bolsward. At the campsite you will see horses, sheep and Juul the pig. You can buy fresh eggs every day. Bolsward is the heart of the Frisian eleven cities, from here you can make the most beautiful bike rides. Moreover, a nice base to discover other cities such as: Sneek, Harlingen, Franeker, Leeuwarden etc.
