In the middle of the city of Bolsward, on the Snekerstraat, you will find the Julianapark.
In the middle of the city of Bolsward, on the Snekerstraat, you will find the Julianapark. This ‘green’ national monument was built in 1913 in honour of the 100th anniversary of the liberation from the French occupation, and it is open every day. You can take a walk among the beautiful old trees, along the ponds, and in the rose garden, and take rest in the grass. The centrepiece of the park is an old aviary that serves as a stage during small-scale events.
