Hindeloopen itself is car-free. Loading/unloading at the house is possible. If you want to explore the surroundings of Hindeloopen by bicycle, you can rent bicycles at the harbor office of Jachthaven Hindeloopen. Guests of the Hylperhuis can use the swimming pool at Jachthaven Hindeloopen free of charge.

Part of Hylperhuis
In the center of the Elfstedenstadje Hindeloopen you will find the Hylperhuis, also known as the House of Ham. Two luxurious double rooms have been realized on the first floor of this authentic house, in which you can spend the night entirely in Hindelooper style. The rooms are decorated with the following theme: 'Flora and Fauna' & 'Shipping' Both rooms have two luxurious single box-spring beds and a private bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The rooms also have a kettle and a mini fridge. The rooms are accessible by stairs. There is no elevator in the house.

You will find this Captain's House the Hylperhuis, also called the House of Ham, centrally in the Elfstedenstadje Hindeloopen. Hindeloopen is located on the IJsselmeer and is car-free.
