The Delphia 40.3 Salt is a luxurious and fully equipped sailing yacht that has been available for hire since 2022. Thanks to the centerboard keel, you can sail on the Frisian lakes as well as on the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea.

The boat has three cabins with six fixed berths. Inside, you will find a spacious saloon with a comfortable seating area and a practically furnished galley. There are two toilets and two showers with hot water. With the inverter, you always have 220V on board, and heating ensures extra comfort. Outside, you sail with a clear cockpit and steering wheel. A double plotter, autopilot, electric anchor winch, and roller mainsail make sailing a relaxing experience.

In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there are a number of restaurants located within a maximum walking distance of 2 kilometers. The center of the village of Makkum can also be reached in less than two kilometers on foot. Here you will find a supermarket, bakery, and various other shops and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there is a small nature reserve where you can take a pleasant walk.

Tornado Sailing Makkum B.V., trading as Tornado Yachting, was established in 1992 through the merger of five Sneek yacht charter companies: Van der Meulen, Moed, Frisia Yachtcharter, Tornado Yachting, and Gessport. This merger immediately established Tornado Yachting as a leading player in Frisian watersports, with a large customer base and a modern rental fleet.

To meet the growing demand for larger charter vessels, we moved to our current location in Makkum in 2007. Here, in a unique location overlooking the IJsselmeer, the Frisian Lakes, and the Wadden Sea, we were able to further develop our quality, innovation, and service.

In 2012, I, Jurre-Jan Muurling, took over Tornado Yachting. At the time, the rental fleet consisted of six boats, and the focus was on selling Delphia Yachts. We have since grown into a full-service watersports company.
