The Delphia 40.3 Salt is a luxurious and fully equipped sailing yacht that has been available for charter since 2022. Thanks to the centerboard keel, you can sail on the Frisian lakes, as well as the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea.

The boat has three cabins with six fixed berths. Inside, you'll find a spacious saloon with a comfortable seating area and a practically furnished galley. There are two toilets and two showers with hot water. An inverter ensures 220V power is always available on board, and heating provides additional comfort. Outside, you'll enjoy a well-organized cockpit and steering wheel. A double plotter, autopilot, electric windlass, and furling mainsail make sailing relaxing.

Tornado Sailing Makkum B.V., trading as Tornado Yachting, was established in 1992 through the merger of five Sneek yacht charter companies: Van der Meulen, Moed, Frisia Yachtcharter, Tornado Yachting, and Gessport. This merger immediately established Tornado Yachting as a leading player in Frisian watersports, with a large customer base and a modern rental fleet.

To meet the growing demand for larger charter vessels, we moved to our current location in Makkum in 2007. Here, in a unique location overlooking the IJsselmeer, the Frisian Lakes, and the Wadden Sea, we were able to further develop our quality, innovation, and service.

In 2012, I, Jurre-Jan Muurling, took over Tornado Yachting. At the time, the rental fleet consisted of six boats, and the focus was on selling Delphia Yachts. We have since grown into a full-service watersports company.
