On the historic site of a former haystack lies De Berch, an atmospheric group accommodation on the open waters of the Peanster Ee. Here, in the middle of nature, this spacious accommodation offers the perfect base for groups of friends, families, colleagues and school groups who want to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Alde Feanen National Park.
With a capacity of 16 to 35 people - and expansion options up to 50 people including children - De Berch is a comfortable place to get together, both in the summer and in the colder months. The accommodation has a spacious open kitchen, fully equipped for groups of up to 40 people, a cozy living room and a bright garden room. The 11 bedrooms offer enough sleeping space for a relaxing stay.

Outside you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Frisian lakes, with direct access to the water via a long private jetty. The site has a spacious lawn with terraces and a fire pit, ideal for long evenings in the open air. For the adventurous guests there are many activities possible, such as sailing, cycling and sloop sailing. In addition, it is possible to use extra services, such as meals provided by a chef or renting linen packages.

Important to know
All beds have a pillow with pillowcase. You can rent a fitted sheet and pillowcase and bring your own sleeping bag. An alternative is to rent a complete sheet package including duvet with cover. Kitchen linen and cleaning products are standard.

Tips from the owner
Pean is located in a quiet, natural area outside. Directly on the water and centrally located in the province of Friesland. You can easily visit cities such as Sneek and Leeuwarden from here. Since we also organize sailing camps, if you are our guest you can also go on the water, possibly accompanied by a skipper. It is also fantastic to explore the area yourself with one of our electric sloops. For example, sail to Alde Feanen and stop in Grou on the way back to grab a terrace. Prefer walking? The Deelen is a must!
