This villa is beautifully situated on open water, between the Fluessen and Morra lakes. From your own jetty you can sail onto the lakes with your boat. The detached house is spacious and has a beautiful large garden that flows into the jetty with a sheltered deck. From the comfortable lounge sofas you have a fantastic view of passing boats.

The house has a light, modern interior with a large Smart TV and home cinema set to relax and watch TV or Netflix. With the audio streamer you can listen to your own favorite music. The kitchen has a cooking island and everything is there to cook a nice meal.

The house has three bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. This 'master bedroom' has its own bathroom with bath and shower. On the first floor are the other two bedrooms and a second bathroom with shower and toilet.

Through the semi-circular living room with many windows you have a beautiful view of the garden and the water. From the living room you can step into the sunny garden through the patio doors.

The large garden has two terraces, one of which is located on the water. The garden is surrounded by hornbeams, which gives you a lot of privacy.

If you want to have a nice BBQ, you can use the Big Green Egg as an option. For cooling on hot summer days, you can use the air conditioners on the ground floor and upper floor.

A 3-phase charging station for charging an electric car is available on the spacious driveway.

You can do your shopping in the center of the cozy village of Koudum.

The costs for using the air conditioners and the charging station are calculated afterwards on the basis of a post-calculation.

What makes this accommodation special

The garden has two terraces, one of which is located on the water. The large garden is surrounded by hornbeams, so you have a lot of privacy. The sunken deck on the jetty gives a feeling of direct contact with the water. There is a bathing ladder so you can swim and there is another platform where you can launch a small boat. If you want to sit in the shade, you can roll out the sun sail or use the large parasol at the large teak outdoor table. At the jetty, a (rental) boat can be moored next to the owner's boat of a maximum length of 8 meters with a draft of 1.20 m.

- During peak season, weekly rentals run from Friday 4:00 PM to Friday 10:00 AM.
- Charging station charges are €0.40 per kWh and will be deducted from your deposit.
- Air conditioning charges are €0.40 per kWh and will be deducted from your deposit.
- Use of the Big Green Egg barbecue is at your own risk. The starter pack includes charcoal and firelighters for a few barbecues. The Big Green Egg is available for guests with experience barbecuing with a kamado.
- Mooring a boat at the dock is at your own risk.

This private holiday home is located on a small-scale park. The house is on open water. From your own jetty you can easily sail onto the Frisian lakes. The village of Koudum is located 2 kilometers away and can be reached by car in less than 5 minutes. There is plenty to do during your holiday in the vicinity of Koudum. Discover Friesland by boat, or get on a bike and explore the beautiful Gaasterland. You can also make beautiful cycling or walking trips where you cross with ferries.

We enjoy our holiday home on the water every time. In our guestbook we read that our guests do the same. You can relax comfortably on the lounge sofas on the water, read, drink an espresso and watch the boats sail by. Want to get some fresh air? You can easily sail away from the jetty with your own or rented boat. It couldn't be easier.
We enjoy letting our guests enjoy our fantastic location on the water.

Tips from the owner

You can sail away from the jetty with your own boat or a boat that can be rented in the vicinity of the house (at De Kuilart, Restaurant Galamadammen or De Morra). You are then within 10 minutes on the Morra or on De Oorden (lake in front of the Fluessen).
If you like cycling, you can make beautiful trips towards Hindelopen or along the water of the Morra or the Rijsterbos. Hikers can also enjoy themselves in and around the Rijsterbos with the Mirnser- and Roode Klif. The places Stavoren, Hindelopen and Workum are nice to visit. In the village of Coldum, 2 km from the house, there are plenty of shops for your groceries.
