Nice weather, a day off or a holiday? Then there's nothing more fun for young children than a day at this family-friendly play park with lots of unique attractions.

Children up to about 13 years old can enjoy more than 40 attractions and playground equipment. Take an exciting splash boat ride from a height of 10 metres, spin around on the giant turntable or enjoy a spooky adventure in the haunted house. Even the youngest children will go home tired but happy.

Right next to the play park, on the shore of the IJsselmeer, you'll find an adventurous nature trail. Discover nature barefoot as you follow a 1.5-kilometre route over pine cones, through mud, water and tall grass. Swing like a monkey on a rope, balance across a tree trunk and pull yourself across the water on a raft. Along the way, large information boards tell you more about the fascinating history of the area. Climb the viewing platform for beautiful views or take a break on a large boulder while discovering whether it's high or low tide.

At the end of the trail, you can rinse off your feet. On warm days, the IJsselmeer at De Hege Gerzen is the perfect place for a refreshing swim.
