Come to the Stedspôle in Workum on Saturday 29 August from 11:00 to 20:00 with your picnic blanket and/or beach chair and enjoy live music, a welcoming market, food trucks full of tasty treats and fun activities for all ages.
For this festival, we have once again gathered the 50 best food trucks and stalls from the region. At the Food Square, you can enjoy warm and cold treats, from poffertjes and candy floss to pizza and Surinamese snacks. For adult visitors who want to take a break, there is a pleasant terrace with cold beers. Younger visitors can tap a drink at Mats’ lemonade stall.
Would you rather have a snack platter than a warm meal? At the Farmers’ Market, you can fill your snack board with tasty beers, cheese, sausage and other treats. At the other stalls, you will find clothing, home accessories, gemstones, lovely soaps and cool surf gear.
Stroll past stalls by artists, craftspeople and small creative makers and take part in fun workshops and special experiences.
Smûk is a day full of good company and activities for all ages. Join a fun workshop or unfold your own field easel and paint, play a tune on your guitar, dance during the silent disco or enjoy one of the performances, including Backbone Bliss the Band. Do not forget to bring your children, neighbours and parents or parents in law and celebrate with us.
The festival is organised by Bien Events in cooperation with El Cafetin Espresso and Illustraties van Meij. Admission is free. Please come by bike as much as possible and bring a bag for all the great things and treats at the market. The market is open until 18:00. The food trucks and terrace are open until 21:00.
