The cozy sleeping cabin is furnished with two bunk beds, a dining area, and a kitchenette for simple meals. Outside, you have your own lawn with a picnic table where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. For dishes, showers, and toilets, you can use the sanitary facilities at the campsite. PLEASE NOTE: You must bring your own sleeping bag and pillowcase.

The campsite is located at the former dairy farm of the Bos family, directly on the Elfstedenroute and a short distance from the historic center of Bolsward. At the campsite you will see horses, sheep and Juul the pig. You can buy fresh eggs every day. Bolsward is the heart of the Frisian eleven cities, from here you can make the most beautiful bike rides. Moreover, a nice base to discover other cities such as: Sneek, Harlingen, Franeker, Leeuwarden etc.

Part of Camping Half-Hichtum

Half-Hichtum is a small campsite with 25 pitches, where your dog is also welcome. The campsite also has a number of paved camper pitches and a cosy hiker's hut where you can stay with four people. From the campsite you are within 10 (cycling) minutes in the historic city centre of Bolsward and is the perfect base for making endless cycling and/or walking tours. From the camping field you can enjoy the sunset and the horses in the meadow. The camping field itself is car-free. You can play a game of Jeu de Boules, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea together, a barbecue or campfire and there is plenty of "reading material" to be found in the cosy communal area. There is also a billiard table and a television. In addition, you can use the microwave and washing machine (for a fee). For the children there are go-karts, fishing nets, a pole vault, trampoline and games. There is a covered bicycle shed, with power points for the e-bike. Prima voor een nacht

Bedden waren super schoon. Minpunt was dat er geen beddengoed aanwezig was, dit was niet beschreven bij het boeken van de accommodatie. Tegen betaling is dit wel te verkrijgen.
