This sunny room is called 'Sinne', the Frisian word for sun. You have your own room with luxury box-spring beds and a cozy sitting area with television. The bathroom is well equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. You will also find a hair dryer, various towels and care products here! A pantry has been realized on the landing of the b&b, here you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea, but also take a drink from the fridge. Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room and consists of regional products and homemade delicacies harvested from our own garden!

It has a view over the wide landscape, surrounded by Frisian lakes and fragrant forests. Joure is a cozy Vlecke: a village with an urban character. It has several nice shops, a bakery, butcher and several supermarkets. For a snack and drink you can go to many cozy terraces and restaurants, both in the center and on the water. In the summer you can enjoy the beach De Ulesprong, which is a stone's throw from the B&B.

For those looking for peace and space, B&B De Scharren in Scharsterbrug (near Joure-Langweer) is the perfect place. In the midst of beautiful nature (forests, lakes and meadows), there is only room for a carefree existence during your stay. Enjoy in the attractive private room or in the spacious garden of 2600 square meters with vegetable garden and fruit orchard. This is spoiled in the Frisian country. The rooms are luxuriously and comfortably furnished with a private bathroom with sink, walk-in shower and toilet (including hair dryer and Janzen care products). These, together with the pantry with Nespresso machine and refrigerator, are located on the first floor with a view over the countryside. It is important to sleep well on the quality (box spring) beds from Avek. And in the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast with, among other things, homemade and/or regional products in the separate and tastefully decorated dining room. An information booklet is available in the guest rooms with tips for exploring the area (including by bicycle, by car/motorcycle, on foot). The B&B is an excellent base for various fun outings. Parking is possible on site. There is a closed bicycle shed with charging point in the yard. There is also space for motorcycles. De Scharren is easily accessible by public transport. Bus line 41 departs from Heerenveen train station and has stops a few meters away from the B&B. From Heerenveen the travel time via Joure is approximately twenty minutes. The B&B is suitable for the tourist who is exploring our country, as well as for the business guest. De Scharren, B&B with personal attention and genuine hospitality.
