This atmospheric 19th century church has recently been restored and repurposed as a village hall and Bed & Breakfast. Here you can stay in peace, with modern facilities and a unique view from the tower that extends to the IJsselmeer. The church has a spacious hall with a flexible layout, ideal for meetings, services and festive occasions. At the front is an atmospheric meeting room. Downstairs in the tower is a comfortable sleeping area with a private shower, toilet and washing facilities. The historic cemetery and the cast iron fence around the church give this special place extra charm.

De locatie is fantastisch omdat het een kerk is. De inrichting is praktisch maar toereikend. De host is heel vriendelijk.

Wat een unieke ervaring. De gehele kerk bleek voor ons beschikbaar te zijn voor 2 nachten. Alles was netjes in orde en we hadden niks te klagen. Dank voor de gastvrijheid!

We werden heel enthousiast ontvangen. De kerkklok werd speciaal stilgezet zodat we niet wakker zouden worden elk half uur door het slaan van de klok😁. Bed en badkamer keurig, heel uitgebreid ontbijt stond klaar in de koelkast voor de volgende ochtend. In de kerkzaal onder de preekstoel 2 comfortabele stoelen waar we heerlijk konden zitten. Vanuit de toren heb je een prachtig uitzicht. Workum is maximaal 8 min rijden hiervandaan. Als je uniek wilt overnachten ga hier dan zeker heen!
