This atmospheric 19th century church has recently been restored and repurposed as a village hall and Bed & Breakfast. Here you can stay in peace, with modern facilities and a unique view from the tower that extends to the IJsselmeer. The church has a spacious hall with a flexible layout, ideal for meetings, services and festive occasions. At the front is an atmospheric meeting room. Downstairs in the tower is a comfortable sleeping area with a private shower, toilet and washing facilities. The historic cemetery and the cast iron fence around the church give this special place extra charm.

Een unieke en zeer goed verzorgde plek

Dit is een unieke plek om te overnachten. Een ruime ontvangst-'kamer' inclusief gerieflijke keuken, een prima bed in de slaapkamer en een goed geoutilleerde badkamer. Maar over alles heen het besef dat deze ruimte eeuwenlang een kerk is geweest voor de bevolking van dit dorp. En nog steeds voelt deze ruimte als een veilige plek voor rust en bezinning. Heel goed zichtbaar is hoe zorgvuldig de benodigde aanpassingen zijn aangebracht om van kerk een recreatie-bestemming te maken. Een unieke plek.

De ontvangst was erg prettig, we kregen een leuke rondleiding. Fijn dat de kerkklok stil wordt gezet tijdens het verblijf. Aan alles was gedacht. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk.
