In the heart of the breathtaking De Alde Feanen National Park lies De Jister, a unique group accommodation for 30 to 150 people. Whether you are celebrating a festival wedding, organizing a school camp or getting together with a sailing club or family, De Jister offers the perfect location for an unforgettable stay.
With a spacious dining room for 150 people and extensive outdoor areas, there is always room for large groups. The accommodation has 60 permanent beds divided over 8 rooms, with expansion options via holiday homes, a smaller group accommodation and mobile homes. The large living area, equipped with sitting areas, a bar and a fireplace, provides a warm and cozy atmosphere, while the professional kitchen is ideal for preparing meals for large groups.
De Jister is located directly on the water, with its own jetty and access to the Wijde Ee-meer. Thanks to its central location in Friesland, charming villages such as Akkrum, Grou and Terherne are nearby, and cities such as Sneek and Leeuwarden are easily accessible. Even the Wadden Islands are within easy reach.
Location
The group accommodations of Pean are beautifully situated between Akkrum and Grou, on the lake Wide Ie. The location is suitable for water sports enthusiasts, because of its location on the water you can discover Friesland by boat, but you can also go in various directions by bike.
Special about this accommodation
Around the accommodation is a large outdoor area including a lawn with volleyball net, sports field, large chess board, table tennis table and several terraces with garden furniture. There is also a water slide that opens into the lake.
Important to know
All beds have a pillow with pillowcase. You can rent a fitted sheet and pillowcase and bring your own sleeping bag. An alternative is to rent a complete sheet package including duvet with cover. Kitchen linen and cleaning products are standard.
