Recreation company Aan het Water is the address for holiday homes at Waterpark Heeg, Waterlodges aan de Opper and villas at Park Wetterhaghe. Heeg is known as a water sports village and the water is never far away, so you can sail on an evening trip with the Palingaak, but you can easily get on the water in a boat yourself. Heeg is about a 15-minute drive from the Eleven Cities of Sneek and IJlst and you can reach Workum in about 45 minutes by bike.

Heeg is ideal as a starting or ending point for a trip across the Frisian Lakes. Whether you choose to sail or take a motorboat: Heeg is the ideal starting point.
