We have lived in this monumental head-neck-trunk farm since 1995 and we like to share that experience with our guests. Enjoy the wide views, beautiful skies and spectacular sunsets with us in this piece of pure Friesland, the Greidhoeke. Cycle or walk through the friendly villages, along picturesque canals or along old church paths.

Tips from the owner

Centrally located in Friesland, 5 of the 11 cities are within cycling distance. There is something to do all year round in Sneek, Leeuwarden or Franeker. Think of the UNESCO world heritage site the Planetarium in Franeker or the musical De Tocht (about the Elfstedentocht) in Leeuwarden. But also closer to home: what about the Mummies in Wieuwert or the Tsiispakhuis in Wommels. The Zwette, the first part of the Eleven Cities Route, is within walking distance (400m), not to mention 2 nature reserves, Skrok and Skrins with bird watching huts.
