Cozy, charming farmhouse cottage (2-8 people, 3 bedrooms) in the Frisian countryside, just outside Sneek. The cottage features a comfortable living room with a seating area and dining area. From the living room, you have a view of the fields. It is brightly decorated in a country style. Adjacent to this, you will find the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and coffee maker, among other things.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The first bedroom has a double bed (160x200). The second bedroom also has a double bed (140x200). There is also a bathroom and a separate toilet on the ground floor (both renovated in 2025).
On the first floor, there is a third bedroom with 3 single beds (90x200). This room is accessible from the living room.

Our farmhouse has 3 bedrooms, which can be arranged flexibly, where we can think along with you regarding your wishes regarding how many beds you want in which bedroom. Depending on your travel group, this offers you more options to sleep separately. If you want to come with more than 6 people, we are happy to think along with you!
- Beds are made upon arrival (including bed linen);
- Shower/bath towels are not provided;
- The minimum age for the main booker is 21;
- Parties and events are not permitted;
- Waste is separated in the cottage;
- The cottage is also smoke- and fireworks-free.
Our farmhouse cottage (2-8 people, 3 bedrooms, more people/customization is negotiable) is situated in a rural location on the grounds next to our farmhouse. It is located in the hamlet of Loënga, close to Scharnegoutum and Sneek. It is a lovely place to enjoy peace and space. From our location, you can easily cycle and/or walk through the surrounding farmlands and villages. If you crave more hustle and bustle, you can reach the heart of Sneek by car within five minutes for cozy terraces, restaurants, and shops. In good weather, you can enjoy spending time by Lake Sneek or hop in the car and drive to Makkum or Harlingen for a dip in Lake IJsselmeer. Additionally, it is approximately a 20-minute drive to Leeuwarden.

Alles war sehr nützlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es passte auch optisch total zusammen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben alles versucht, um eine Lösung für unser vergessenes Reisebett zu finden - mit Erfolg.
Geweldig genoten hier. Van de rust, maar ook van Sneek wat op steenworp afstand ligt. Kristian en Anne-Froukje zijn erg vriendelijk behulpzaam. Hond Teun maakt het feest compleet.
alles was ruim voor handen, meer dan voldoende bestek en servies, zodat je de afwasmachine ook echt vol kon krijgen.

In addition to our family, we share our yard with about 40 chickens, roosters, 5 runner ducks, 4 cats and our Frisian Stabij, Teun.
With a head full of ideas and plans, we moved into the 1931 farm. The transition from a new-build house to this old farm has proven to be a real voyage of discovery, which makes us extremely creative.
Next to the farm is a former stable, which has been renovated by the previous residents and pimped by us for rental. We hope to let our guests enjoy the outdoor life that we love so much.

We are Kristian de Vries and Anne-Froukje Mook. Since the beginning of 2022, we have been living with our 4 children on our farm just above Sneek, a long-cherished dream that has come true. In addition to our family, we share our yard with about 40 chickens, roosters, 5 runner ducks, 4 cats and our Frisian Stabij, Teun.
With a head full of ideas and plans, we moved into the 1931 farm. The transition from a new-build house to this old farm has proven to be a real voyage of discovery, which makes us extremely creative.
Next to the farm is a former stable, which has been renovated by the previous residents and pimped by us for rental. We hope to let our guests enjoy the outdoor life that we love so much.
We are also busy in the vegetable garden and expect a rich harvest of raspberries, courgettes, tomatoes and flowers, among other things. There are fresh eggs from our chickens and ducks every day.
