If you have ever skated, sailed or watched the Eleven Cities Tour on television, you can’t have missed the Waterpoort. The route of the “Tour of Tours” passes right in front of it, across De Kolk.

Did you know that this stretch of water and the Waterpoort will also provide the setting for a first at the next tour? Due to the crowds, the route through the centre of Sneek will, for the first time, be split into a western and an eastern route. The thousands of skaters will then come together again in front of the Waterpoort. It must be a spectacular sight.
