Friese Meren Villas is located on the edge of the picturesque twin village of Delfstrahuizen/Echtenerbrug with an amazing view over the Tjeukemeer, with cozy restaurants, terraces, boat rental, snack bar and shops nearby. Within walking distance of the park you will find a lovely sandy beach for sunbathing, enjoying or being active in and on the water. There is also a tennis club within walking distance, where you can rent a tennis court to hit a ball. In the vicinity of the twin village you will find Lemmer (10 km), Heerenveen (12 km) and Langweer. In Lemmer you will find the Ir. D.F. Woudagemaal, restaurants and shops.
