The front section of this stately head-neck-body farmhouse from 1875 is available for rent as a B&B or holiday home. The front section was renovated in 2022; the original details have been preserved and restored to their former glory. The beautiful windows, authentic carpentry, and the box bed make this home unique. The upstairs room features a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. In the upstairs room, you can enjoy dining at the round table, sit comfortably around the fireplace, and watch a good film on television.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, a spacious hall with ample closet space, and a luxurious bathroom with a nice shower and toilet.
Outside, there are lovely spots to enjoy the sunshine, the birds, and the silence. Coffee and tea are, of course, provided.

B&B Sypenstien is located in a rural area between the woods. You are less than a 5-minute drive from both Langweer and Sint Nicolaasga. Langweer is a cozy water sports village with a number of fine restaurants. In Sint Nicolaasga you will find a supermarket, bakery and a number of shops and restaurants. The larger village of Joure is about 10 minutes by car. In addition to a pleasant center with various shops and restaurants, you will also find a swimming pool and museum here. When you walk to the left from Sypenstien, you will soon reach the Vegelinbossen where you can walk beautifully. You can also go in many directions by bike and make beautiful trips.

Tips from the owner
From the yard you only have to cross the road and you are in the forest. You can take beautiful walks in the forest. Bicycle junction number 56 is opposite our farm. Beautiful cycling routes pass here. Golf course Burg-Golf van Sint Nicolaasga is 1 km away on foot or 2 km by bike. The cozy water sports village of Langweer is 1.5 km away. Many restaurants and other catering establishments can be found here. The Langwarder Wheels are 1km away. Open waters are 1 km away, it is possible to moor your boat here. There is also plenty to do for horse lovers, beautiful equestrian routes in the forest, and P.S.V De Oorsprong can be reached on horseback. If you would like to stable your own horse with us during your stay, please contact us.
