City walks
Walkers led by a guide through the historic city center of IJlst. After the walk, the visitor is taken to the Museum Houtstad IJlst with the wooden bok and then to the ancient wood sawmill ‘De Rat’. The approx. 2-hour walk will be concluded in the Stadsherberg with a cup of coffee / tea. Costs € 9.50 pp. Groups from 7 people can make this walk by appointment . It is also possible to make this walk on an individual basis from mid-June to mid-September on Wednesday : from the VVV office at Geeuwkade 4 at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.
Boat trips
Cruises (to12 people) in and around IJlst with the wooden bok. Costs € 75.00 per hour. There is also the possibility to make this cruise on an individual basis from mid-June to mid-September on Thursday afternoon. Start from the VVV office at Geeuwkade 4 at 2 pm. Duration 2 hours. Costs € 10.00 pp.
Arrangements
A tailor-made packages with a city walk , a cruise, a visit to the Saw wood sawmill and / or the HoutstadIJlst Museum. A combination with a coffee table, lunch / dinner or dressed drinks is also possible. An attractive program is offered in consultation with you.
Port IJlst
The passers port IJlst offers construction capacity for 24 yachts and sailing boats with a draft of 1.20 m. The port is accessible from the route Bolsward-Heeg via Wine Sloot and Het Zouw, a beautiful route, from the White -. And Black Brekken for ships to 2:40 m. height and from the Geeuw for ships up to 2.20 height. The harbor has been fully renovated in 2018 and is situated in a quiet area, next to the ice rink,
with a beautiful view of the beautiful city of IJlst. Electricity and water are included in the bill. Free showers + toilet facilities are available in the building of the fierljepschans, which has recently been completely renewed.

The camperpitches of IJlst is situated on a unique spot: next to the ice rink, with a view of the fierlschepschans and near the historic town with the special overtunes. Free showers + toilet facilities are available in the building of the fierljepschans, which has recently been completely renewed. The camperpitches has been extended in early 2019. There is electricity connection for 4 campers.
