At the rear of the farmhouse, a comfortable, cozy holiday home was built in 2022. Through the private entrance, a terrace with a spacious garden and outdoor lighting, you enter the house. There is a spacious open living space with a cozy sitting area, dining area and kitchen. This kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The house has two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other a bunk bed, the lower bed of which is a double bed. The house is therefore suitable for 5 people. Dogs are welcome. Please bring your own basket/bench. Our holiday home is not suitable for a fearful pet around New Year's Eve due to fireworks.

You will find this holiday home on the edge of the cozy Gaasterland village of Oudemirdum. The holiday home was built in a former farm and you have a view of the alpacas! Oudemirdum is a pleasant green village with, among other things, the beautiful Mar & Klif visitor center, where you can discover everything about the Southwest Friesland National Landscape. The area is also ideal for beautiful cycling and walking tours through the woods or along the old sea dike along the IJsselmeer.

In 2020 we bought a farmhouse in beautiful Oudemirdum. Because there are two of us and we had room to spare, we converted part of the farm into a spacious holiday home.
Tips from the owner
Our holiday home is located on the edge of Oudemirdum, so shops and restaurants are within walking distance. It is in the immediate vicinity of IJsselmeer and forest.
