Smûk Fjildhuske is a charming cottage for 2 to 4 people – perfect for a family or two couples. You'll sleep in a comfortable double bed and a cozy box bed with bunk beds and lockable doors for extra privacy.

Inside, the decor is light and natural, with plenty of wood, soft colors, and a warm atmosphere. There's a sitting area with a bench covered in cushions, and a compact kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, and all the necessary kitchenware. A shower and toilet are available, and the beds are already made upon arrival. Towels and kitchen linens are also provided. Thanks to the underfloor heating, you'll always be comfortable – even on a chilly morning.

Outside, enjoy panoramic views of the Frisian meadows from the wooden veranda. The cottage includes a hot tub. Start your day with a cup of coffee in the sun or end it by the fire with candles and good conversation. An added bonus: you can even cook outdoors on an open fire.

Smûk offers you an outdoor holiday in the Frisian countryside. You will find the Smûk Hûske there; a hip and cozy house with a hot tub, the Smûk Tiny, a 2-person Tiny with a view over the meadow and the Smûk glamping tents. Enjoy a relaxing holiday on the farm. A short walk through the landscape between the cows will take you to the jetty at Pier Christiaansloot, where the electric boats and canoes are moored. You walk along this canal to the village of Echtenerbrug/Delfstrahuizen where there is a beach on the Tjeukemeer. From the farm you can easily sail into the beautiful Frisian lake area. Including Sloten, Lemmer and Langweer or across the Tjonger. Discover the unspoilt nature of the Weerribben and the Rottige Meente, a beautiful walking and cycling area. The Orchid Farm is highly recommended, with its butterfly garden, Alpacas and indoor playground for the children. Be sure to visit the town of Lemmer, a cozy center with nice terraces and nice shops. You can reach Leeuwarden in 45 minutes, where you can do more extensive shopping, climb the Oldenhove tower or visit the Nature or Frisian museum.

You are a guest of Gert and Crista Diever. We are now the 3rd generation living on this beautiful Stelp farm from 1850. Living and working in an authentic building is unique! We would like to share this beautiful spot in Friesland on the water near the Tjeukemeer with you.
Come spend the night at Smûkrecreatie, in our Smûk Huske and since this year we have our Smûk Tiny, Smûk tents and a small camping field.
