The magic of Friesland in winter At Sloep Events Friesland, we offer a unique winter outing: Winter Sailing in Friesland. A perfect opportunity for a pleasant boat trip with friends, family, colleagues, or as a romantic getaway. During the cruise, you'll be taken across the glistening waters of Friesland. Enjoy the beautiful landscape, the historic Eleven Cities, and the charming, picturesque villages. From the luxurious, covered Blaauwe Sloep (Blue Sloop), you'll sail past atmospherically lit bridges, towers, and ships, creating an almost fairytale-like setting. Friesland reveals its most cozy side, with tranquil waters and rustic winter splendor.
From October through March, you can experience Friesland at its most beautiful. On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, we sail from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM through an enchanting winter landscape. The trip takes you past idyllic spots such as historic Sneek, charming Sloten, and picturesque IJlst. Each of these towns exudes history and charm, with illuminated bridges and authentic waterways creating a fairytale atmosphere.
A wintery atmosphere on board To complete your winter adventure, delicious seasonal delicacies are served on board. Enjoy the warmth of mulled wine and rich chocolate milk with whipped cream. For savory lovers, there's artisanal pea soup with rye bread and smoked bacon, perfect for warming up during the cruise. The selection of seasonal beers adds an extra touch of coziness and flavor to the experience.

The ship is open 5 minutes before departure. The boat will only sail if the weather conditions permit. The boat will sail if at least 2 people have registered. The maximum number of people is 25.
