Morning trip with an open boat (praam) from Sneek to IJlst and back. You first sail through the city canals of Sneek. Via the Geeuw you sail to the next Frisian city IJlst. Here you will pay a coffee visit to Houtzagmolen (mill) de Rat and (if open) Museum Houtstad IJlst. With the tour you will learn everything about why IJlst is also called the Houtstad. When there is sufficient wind, the mill is in full operation. The cruise including guided tour takes 2.5 hours.

Location
Boarding location is at the jetty of Cafe/Restaurant De Kajuit (at Jachthaven De Domp), Dompleane 1 in Sneek. Parking is available at the restaurant itself.
Important to know
Please be at the jetty 10 minutes before departure. Please note that you sit quietly on the open barge while sailing. In cooler weather: make sure you have a sweater or jacket with you. Fleece blankets are on board. Also umbrellas if necessary. In sunny weather: remember a cap and sunscreen.
Full is full. Sailing will only take place if there is sufficient participation.
The cruise in Sneek passes under low bridges. Bending over is therefore necessary in some places. The skipper will indicate this in advance.
