Interactive treasure hunt ‘In the footsteps of the badger’ for children aged around 6 to 7 through the Elfbergen forest in Gaasterland.

Would you like to learn more about badgers? Follow the Badger Trail through the Elfbergen forest. It is an adventurous walk along narrow paths and through a dry ditch. Along the trail, you will find signs featuring badgers. Each badger has its own activity, which you can find in the activity booklet. The activities are suitable for children aged around 6 to 7.

The booklet is available from Mar & Klif Visitor Centre in Oudemirdum. Please check the visitor centre’s opening hours before you go. You can find more information about the booklet here. The booklet also includes a wildlife spotting card. The cost is €4. At the visitor centre, they can tell you exactly where the Badger Trail starts and how to get there.
