This spacious tent has a comfortable, heated double bed. In addition, there is the possibility to make your own cup of coffee using the Nespresso machine. In front of the tent is a terrace with two lounge chairs and a small kamado barbecue. In the middle of the field is a large tent with a large picnic table. In the tent there is a small one-burner gas stove where you can fry an egg in the morning and the barbecue on the terrace. If you prefer to cook something more elaborate, you can do so in the greenhouse. A covered outdoor kitchen has been placed here, including a refrigerator and running water. The tent does not have its own sanitary facilities, but a sanitary building with showers and toilets is a short walk away. Showers work on € 0.50 coins.
Location
The tents are located at a cozy water sports park in Elahuizen. Elahuizen is located on the banks of the Fluessen, the largest lake of the Frisian lakes after the Tjeukemeer. Villages such as Woudsend and Balk (where you can also do your shopping) are within cycling distance. The surroundings of Elahuizen are ideal for exploring by bicycle, for example, cycle around the Fluessen and the Heegermeer, or cycle towards the rolling Gaasterland. Even if you have a boat you can go in many directions from Elahuizen. Due to its location directly on one of the Frisian lakes with its own marina, you can easily discover Friesland from the water.
Special about this accommodation
It is possible to place extra beds in the tent, a maximum of 2 single beds can be added. Prices for the two additional persons are calculated automatically.
Important to know
- Your beds are made upon arrival and towels are ready for you, so you don't have to bring this yourself!
- You cannot drive/park your car on the field near the tent. When loading and unloading your belongings, you can drive up to the field, after which you must park your car in the parking lot;
- The tent does not have its own sanitary facilities, but a sanitary building with showers and toilets is a short walk away. Showers work on €0.50 coins.
