Boat tour through the historic city canals of Bolsward.

In the months of July, August, and September 2024, a boat tour is organized almost every Monday to Saturday, twice a day. In 45 minutes, you'll experience the city from a completely different perspective, while volunteers narrate the rich history of the Frisian Eleven Cities town of Bolsward.

The boat tour starts on Monday to Friday at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM and lasts for 45 minutes. On Saturday, the boat tour starts at 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. The boarding location is the jetty of the Waag next to the City Hall. Each boat tour can accommodate 12 participants, so be sure to sign up in advance. Space is limited. Registration can be done through VVV Bolsward, located in the town hall/De Tiid: info@detiid.nl or +31 515 - 53 43 33. The cost for the boat tour is €5 per person. Payment can be made on board via a QR code or in advance at VVV Bolsward (boarding location is next to the VVV).
